Hakuda Ryu Kempo Jutsu Essex

Essex Kempo Yahoo Discussion Group

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EssexKempoForum/summary

This yahoo group is in order to share interest and information on all styles of KempoKempo is defined for this purpose as having had its origins in Chinese Boxing (Chaun) that was exported to Okinawa and Japan where it was named Haku. In Japan Haku or Kempo provided the basis for a number of traditional Ju Jutsu Styles that were influenced by people such as Chin Gem Pin. In Okinawa Kempo was combined with the Native art of Okinawan Te to form what later became Karate Jutsu. There is also the Kempo that came to Hawaii from Okinawa at the beginning of the 20th Century and which was influenced by the likes of Yabu Kentsu (Shorin Ryu), Chojun Miyagi (Shorei Ryu) and Choku Motobu (Tomari Te) and from which the American Kenpo styles have sprung.
